Paying for your Services;
- For Veterans – We deliver the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Community Nursing Program free of charge to gold card holders and eligible white card holders.
- Heath Funds – may cover some or all of your care. You will need to make enquiries with your fund. It is best to contact your fund before or during your hospitalisation.
- If you are a Carer – of a loved one with and illness or disability you may be eligible to receive funding for respite / care services when you have an emergency or require a short term break. Phone Commonwealth Carer Respite and Carelink Centre on 1800 059 059.
- Compacks – is a free 6 week discharge package of care services available for eligible inpatients of participating hospitals including the Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital. You will need enquire about this program whilst you still in hospital. Ask to speak with a discharge planner.
- E A C H Packages – Extended Aged Care at Home packages are provided to frail aged clients assessed by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) as requiring high level care. This package is an alternative to Nursing Home placement for those clients wishing to remain living in the community. Funded by the Commonwealth Government means that EACH packages are in high demand. Health Care at Home is an EACH provider and from time to time these packages do become available.
- Fee for Services – We have a schedule of fees and you or your family may elect to pay for your care services to avoid admission to residential care.
- Complex Care Clients – May be eligible to receive assistance from funded organisations such as community options or from workers compensation or injury insurance.
If we cannot help you we will endeavour to refer you to someone who can. Your enquiries are always welcome.
