Health Care At Home privately funded the establishment of Valentino’s Respite Cottage in 2003. Valentino’s Cottage is a beautiful cottage built in the 1860s. It is tastefully decorated in order to promote a relaxed and comfortable home like environment.

The Cottage can accommodate 8 clients at any one time. Offering a bed and breakfast style experience we aim to make your respite stay more like a holiday than respite.

We cater for individual needs and respond by supplying appropriately qualified staff. Care revolves around the care recipient and reflects individual like and dislikes, interests and capabilities. We are able to cater for clients of all ages and including those requiring a secure facility and those with complex care requirements.

Valentino’s Cottage is located in the heart of the Tamworth CBD in close proximity to shops, parks, cinemas and local attractions.

Valentino’s Cottage is also the venue for theTamworth Palliative Day support program (TPDS).

Health Care at Home supports and funds this free palliative respite program and welcomes referrals and enquiries via the office.
